「命を懸けて護るべき故郷 ―それは、地球だ。TERRA」

「賭上生命也要守護的故鄉——是地球（TERRA）。」

The game was first announced during the “Nama SupaRobo Channel” livestream on November 19, 2018 alongside the upcoming mobile title Super Robot Wars DD.

Like the previous two installments focusing on the crossover aspect, the game itself will be themed around “Revenge” and similar to both titles, aimed more for newcomers of the series.

In the title of the series, the “T” stands for “Terra”.

The game also marks its first ever release on the Nintendo Switch, following the decline of the PlayStation Vita.
