Introduction

The following content contains the rules and procedures of the event YEAH Asia League - Girls’ Power - PUBG Mobile SEA Online Tournament. The participating teams and players must abide by the rules of the game. In case of disagreement, Yes! E-Sports Asia Holdings Limited (“YEAH”, or “Tournament Organizer”) has the right to modify the stipulated content.

Players Eligibility

Each team should include: 1 team captain, 3 members and 1 substitute member (Optional), all participants must be registered as Yesports member and the team captain should complete the online application form and will be responsible for the application and all team communications with YEAH.

*If the team has less than 4 members such that it cannot compete for the online qualifier, it will be replaced by a substitute team.

Application Procedure

Before the start of the tournament, each team member should register on Yesports website (www.yesports.asia) and complete a telephone validation.
Once the application form is submitted, team lineup cannot be changed without the permission of YEAH.
Each Team/player can participate in the tournament in one team only. If at any point a player is found to be playing for multiple teams, the Team and the Player shall be subject to disqualification or other sanctions by YEAH at YEAH’s sole discretion.

Application

The application period will be open until 24/9 23:59:59
Required Information: Legal name, date of birth, phone number, location of residence, email, nickname in game, Yesports ID and Game ID.

Game Format

There will be three rounds of game for the qualifiers and semi-finals. The map used will be Erangel.
There will be four rounds of game for the finals, different maps will be used in each game including Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok and Vikendi.
Scoring for each Tournament Game will be based on each Team’s final kill count and in-game placement, placement in 1-5 could get 50 points, 30 points, 25 points, 20 points and 15 points respectively, whilst each kill could get 5 points extra.
If the game name of any member does not match the information at registration or any member fails to attend the competition for any reason including not having the required map, the team will be deducted 5 points per such member.
Each player needs to possess a usable PUBG Mobile account. Team name and game ID must not contain any sensitive, vulgar wording or sexual connotations.
Reminders will be sent via YEAH’s Discord 30 minutes before the start of the Tournament Game. Players are advised to test for the game’s operability and internet connectivity.
Players have to join in the game room 5 minutes in advance before the Tournament Game starts.
All players have to record their own competition by screen capture; YEAH may request player to provide their video for review if any problem occurs. At the same time, YEAH will also record the whole competition in order to ensure the Tournament’s fairness and prevent unnecessary disputes.
Unless the game server is unstable, once the Tournament Game starts, any request for a full match restart will not be permitted.
Players shall not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person or group of people through contemptuous, discriminatory or denigrating words or actions on account of race, skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, financial status, birth or any other status, sexual orientation or any other reason.
Players shall not issue or publish any statement that is prejudicial or detrimental to the best interest of YEAH.
Without the consent of YEAH, player may not disclose any confidential or proprietary information provided or made available by YEAH to the public.
Players may not participate in any activities that YEAH considers to be unethical, unprofessional or disgraceful.
Whenever dispute arises with respect to issues concerning fairness, equipment problems, game pause, rematch etc., YEAH has the ultimate authority of adjudication.
YEAH has the right to make final changes and determination on all issues concerning game rules, players standard, location, game standard and penalties for violation of rules.

Rules and Regulations

A round of game is considered to be completed for a team once all members of the team have been eliminated.
Game client server and account must be running in “Asia” server.
Matches will be played in TPP four-person squad mode.
It is strictly forbidden to use simulators or tablets to enter the tournament.
If a team cannot play at the scheduled start time, it will be treated as forfeiting the tournament. Changes of players is prohibited after a game is started.
Each player’s personal tournament ID must be identical to the one provided on the registration form.
All players must use the current version of the game in order to participate in the tournament. Pausing or quitting by the player is not allowed once the game is started.
Except for inevitable circumstances such as sudden illness, natural disasters, unexpected accidents, etc., no rematch can be demanded and the game shall continue.
Unless it is specifically announced by the Tournament Organizer that there are technical issues of the server causing game interruptions or delays, any other interruptions or delays are considered to be the teams’ own technical issues. No rematch can be demanded and the game shall continue.
No behaviors such as hacking and using external programs that undermine fairness are allowed during the game. If any such behavior is identified and confirmed, the team will be disqualified.
It is not allowed to use a game account other than the one registered during team registration, the team at fault will be disqualified once it is determined that fairness of the game is affected. If the opponent team is suspected of contravening the above, the playing team should report it to the customer service center after completing the match.
Unregistered game accounts or players are not allowed to be used during the tournament. If It is determined that fairness of the game is affected, the team at fault will be disqualified.
It is unacceptable to use offensive words to insult other players. If this happens, a warning will be given and whether the team can win will be determined according to the situation.
The instructions of the Tournament Organizer must be followed at all times during the tournament.
In case of any disputes on fairness, equipment issues, suspension, rematch, referee ruling, etc., YEAH has final adjudication.
By joining the event, you and your team will become Yesports Talents.

Screen Recording Rules

1. Screen-recording must be minimum of 15mins.

2. All players must provide each of their own recording.

3. Teams must collate the videos in their individual Dropbox/Google Drive with appropriate TEAM NAME.

4. Drive link must be set to "anyone with the link can view" so that the Organizers can access and deliberate the rules.

Failure to comply will receive deductions. Here they are as follows:

Tournament Schedule

Rooms will be created 15 minutes before the start of each game.
Online qualifier will be held on 26/9 (Sat).
Online Semi-Finals will be held on 27/9(Sun)
Online final will be held on 4/10(Sun).

* If there are changes to the above schedule and venue, it will be announced separately.

Game Format

● Online qualifier: To pick the top 8 teams of each of the 4 brackets.

● Online semi-final: To pick top 8 teams from each of the 2 brackets.

● Online final: The 16 remaining teams to compete for the championship.

Players’ Matters

The teams that are advanced to the finals will be officially subsidized by YEAH to participate in the Hong Kong finals. The subsidies include the cost of flight tickets and accommodation but does not include personal expenses.
YEAH has the right to use the player’s name, personal profile and photos for post-game marketing coverage. According to the game’s rules and regulations, YEAH has the right to broadcast or replay the tournament solely or together with its broadcast partner (including through the internet or wireless networks) without any extra payment to the players.
Before the start of the tournament, each team member should register on Yesports website (www.yesports.asia) and submit its roster through online tools provided by YEAH. No changes to a Team’s roster will be permitted after a team’s registration has been processed without the prior approval of YEAH.
If the number of participant/team enrolled in any country is less than 50 after the enrolment deadline, the group/event will be cancelled. All affected participants will be fully refunded for the registration fee.
Refunds or compensations will not be available for any delays or cancellations (does not apply to point no.4).
YEAH will contact the winners based on the contact information provided by the winners on the registration form and changes will not be accepted.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.

Contestants Convention

Punishment for inducing unfairness

1.1. YEAH reserves the right to disqualify team, confiscate or withdraw all tournament-related rewards and subsidies.

1.2. Affect the fairness or destroy the game environment.

1.3. The following behaviors will be considered as corrupting the fairness of the tournament and players will be penalized at YEAH's sole discretion.

1.3.1. Any agreement made between two or more players or between different teams, for example: private meeting between two or more players to agree on producing specific match result; deliberately let the opponent to win the match or colluding to produce specific match result or split the prize money; disruptive behavior which leads to any type of conduct deemed inappropriate; deliberately losing the tournament for compensation, or for any other reason, or attempting to induce another player to do so.

1.3.2. Use of external software, the intentional use of any bugs or glitch in the game to gain team advantage. Should any bugs be found, the player shall notify the referee or onsite staff immediately.

1.3.3. Cheating of any sort through any means. The use of cheating device or cheat program.

1.3.4. Intentional network disconnection without a proper or clear reason.

1.3.5. Inappropriate expressions, all players are not allowed to use expressions that are obscene, vulgar, insulting, threatening, offensive, racist or any type of expression which the official members or the referee considers as inappropriate.

1.3.6. Offensive or insulting behaviour. Players are not allowed to spread any provocative words to any opponent’s players or induce anyone to take the same action during the tournament. The above situation will be seen as causing harassment and disruption of harmony.

1.3.7. Substitution of players or any attempts to do so is not allowed, if substitution is found the team will be forfeited from the tournament.

Unprofessional conduct: unless specified, otherwise violating below rules will result in penalties

2.1. Humiliating behavior. Humiliation is defined by causing hostile or distressing behavior on opposing team members for a prolonged time.

2.2. Sexual humiliation. Sexual Harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances. The assessment is based on whether the person being harassed would regard the conduct as undesirable or offensive.

2.3. Discrimination and Denigration. Players may not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person or group of people through contemptuous, discriminatory or denigrating words or actions on account of race, skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, financial status, birth or any other status, sexual orientation or any other reason.

2.4. If a player has civil or criminal liabilities, YEAH reserves the right to decide whether the player can continue in participating the tournament.

2.5. Investigations into player’s conduct. Upon discovery of any team member committing any violations of the tournament rules or terms of use for PUBGM. YEAH reserves the right to decide on any penalties and in serious circumstances the player may be banned from participating the tournament.

2.6. Players are not allowed to participate in any illegal activities defined by the law.

2.7. Players may not engage in any activity which, in the sole determination of YEAH, is unethical, immoral or disgraceful.

2.8. Without the consent of YEAH, player or the management team may not disclose any confidential or proprietary information provided or made available by YEAH to the public.

2.9. No players or the management team members may offer any gift, reward, cash or other reward to other team member or the Tournament Organizer.

2.10. No players or management team members may accept any gift from other team members for the purpose of manipulating the tournament’s results.

2.11. No players or management team members may refuse to comply with the instructions or decisions of the Tournament Organizer.

2.12. No players or management team members should agree or attempt to use injunction to affect the tournament result.

2.13. No management team members from any team are allowed to contact other team members on contractual matters or allure them to conduct any act to breach the contract. Any team members who have received such allurement for breach of contract should report to the official members and their management team members, otherwise penalties would be imposed.

Gambling Matters: Any team members or management team members are not allowed to participate in gambling activities related to this tournament.

3.1. Points To Note

3.1.1. Once the registration details are sent out, changes are not allowed. All participants of this tournament must guarantee the validity of all registration details. If the personal details are not correctly or properly registered, or involve fraudulent use of other people’s personal details resulting in in YEAH not being able to contact or deliver the prize to the winner, or participants are not able to provide award recipient details or change his/her personal information within the required timeframe, it will be construed as unconditional forfeiture of the rights to the award. The participant shall bear all the responsibilities and cannot request YEAH to deliver or declare any other rights.

3.1.2. YEAH will notify the applicants based on the registration details entered in the tournament website. Applicants and players must pay attention to their mobiles’ messages. Registration details entered by applicants and players will be reviewed to see if they are consistent with those registered on their PUBG accounts. If inconsistency is identified, fraudulent participants and those who violate the tournament’s rules shall forfeit their eligibility and all related rights to participate, receive prizes and advance to the next round.

3.1.3. If the applicant’s registered email address is incorrect causing YEAH’s sent email to bounce back, or if the applicant’s or participant’s email setting leads to the categorization of the sent email be regarded as junk email, or if the applicant or participant could not receive YEAH’s notification because of various reasons (including but limited to full mailbox or network connectivity problems), he/she shall bear the entire responsibility and is deemed to forfeit the eligibility and all related rights to participate, receive prizes and advance to the next round.

3.1.4. All prize receiving team members must bring along and provide onsite a copy of their personal Identity cards and bank account details. If there are missing details, the transfer of cash prize will be delayed significantly, therefore all team members are reminded to bring along the necessary documents. If due to personal reasons the team member could not provide the documents on site, the deadline to submit the documents would be within 15 days after the final is over, identity documents and bank account details must be sent to info@yeahevents.co. Team members who are not able to submit the documents within the required timeframe are deemed to forfeit their rights to any prizes earned.

3.1.5. Some prizes will be distributed only after all team members’ required documents are received. Moreover, the cash prize will be evenly divided and transferred to the five starting team members’ accounts, the organizer will not be involved in matters related to further allocation of the cash prize between team members.

3.1.6. If the tournament or event schedule is not sufficiently detailed, YEAH’s notification messages shall prevail and be referred to. All rights to participate and receive prices, and any prizes earned are not transferrable to any third party. Prizes are not cancellable, refundable and exchangeable for cash, game points, or any other products and rights. Players who do not comply with the prize receiving procedures will be deemed to forfeit all eligibility and related rights.

3.1.7. By participating in the tournament, players hereby grant to YEAH the permission to record and the right to edit all images, photos, videos and other information related to the tournament. Materials will be used for making event highlights or user reports, and the related content and will be made available to the public.

3.1.8. For players who do not meet the eligibility requirements, have not yet participated, have forfeited the tournament or the right to any prizes earned due to inability to complete the prize receiving procedure within the required timeframe, or have violated the tournament rules, YEAH will not make further announcements on the internet or notifications.

3.1.9. Due to consideration of the live match, players who are present on the match must have self-discipline and smoking is prohibited in the tournament area. Rules in in-door and outdoor areas must be complied with, if smoking, wine drinking, drug taking, quarrels, fights, gambling and other illegal behaviors are found, the related teams will receive penalties depending on the circumstances and no objections shall be raised. The tournament schedules and rules announced on-site must be followed, players who does not cooperate or maliciously violate the rules will forfeit their eligibility and related rights to enter the tournament, win and advance to the next round. YEAH shall also has the right to demand the players concerned to leave the tournament immediately.

3.1.10. In the event of players or applicants not being able to participate in the tournament because of issues of the mobile, computer, telephone or other technical issues or reasons not related to the tournament organizer, or violation of the tournament rules causing freezing of account, or unstable network and network disconnection causing sending or registering the applicants’ personal details to suffer from delay, loss, inaccuracy, non-identifiability or damage, YEAH will not bear any responsibility and no compensation will be given The tournament still goes on as usual.

3.1.11. YEAH has the authority to review all applicants and players’ conduct and observe if there are any malicious registrations, deliberate forgeries, opening of multiple accounts, abnormal multiple participation activities happening in a short period of time, participation of tournament using external software, scams, violations of member system service contract or attempts to use improper way to participate in the tournament. Should any above situations is identified, the player will forfeit his/her right to participate and the prizes.

3.1.12. For all rules and participation procedures, the tournament’s or organizer’s website should be referred to. YEAH reserves the right, anytime at its sole discretion, to substitute, withdraw or alter any of the prizes offered without notice to the players. For any details not explicitly elaborated, YEAH has the authority to revise or give further elaboration and the latest notice should be referred to.

3.1.13. By participating in the tournament, players thereby agree to compete in compliance with the tournament rules, participation procedures and items to note including but not limited to using, processing and gathering of personal details of the participants. If there is disagreement or violation, the player will be deemed to forfeit his/her eligibility to participate in the tournament or Yeah may cancel the winning eligibility. If this causes loss to YEAH or any third party, YEAH has the right to demand compensation from the player and he/she needs to bear the full responsibility.

Last Provision

The decision of YEAH shall be final and binding in all matters. Should there be any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
